The main question: Are you a here to serve or to be served?
Are you here to be a strong leader and help those who are lost find their way home or are you here to look like a leader for others to follow you?
When God calls each of us, he has a strong purpose for our lives, he expect for us
to be effective in ministry, to be aware of the devils trap, to understand the truth as it is and not what we desire it to be.
But lets be truthful we have more bad press about ministers in this world today then we do about gangs, drugs and lawyers in this world today. The devil has made it where each time a minister or christian leader make a mistake it is present to the world that God has no control, that the will of God is losing sight on the truth, and those who serve him, are only after their own well being, and not for the being of those who are seek the truth.
You may ask what makes a person who can talk about these things? Who am I to even think I have the answer to these questions? Are do I have the mindset to even figure out what the problem is? Well I am can only express the fact that I have seen so many changes within the kingdom of God, I have seen the pain, the confusion, the lost soul and even the leadership that has fall apart because of personal gain, ego's and foolishness. I have seen these things because of the fact I have been at the top of the mountain, I have been in leadership, and have watched many of our leadership get made when God begin to elevate someone else, I have experiences the pain and confusion when you want things to go right, and those who are only after personal gain, will do all they can to keep it from reaching the point which God has asked for. I have been involved because I am a child of God, and not because I have something to gain out of this.
I have also made the statement, I will only follow those who are truly about the kingdom of God, I will only stand firm within a ministry when it strongly about changing lives, and I will only promote the cause for and by the Holy Spirit. And I have truly held on to that promise. And to this day, I have made more enemies in the house of God, then in the house of the Devil. Why? Not because of my strong personal views or my clear cut attitude to when I speak my mind, but because of my strong belief, because I stand firmly on the word of God within my heart, and I would move when God tells me to move.
It is nothing wrong with that, what is wrong when you find yourself sitting back and watching those who are here to serve the kingdom of God, end up being served by the members of the Kingdom of God. When money become God, and the fellowship become slaves to the money, and the leadership become kings and queens to the point where they need bodyguards or someone to carry their bags, clothes and even clean up after them. This is not a true measurement of the house of God, and yet, we feel because we have appointed ourselves Bishop, Teachers, Leaders, Apostles, Prophets etc. we deserve the limelight. But I assure you the only one deserve the limelight is The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. Have we forgotten that? As leaders have we truly over looked our main purpose? Do we realize we are doing more harm to the house of God then good. Or do we truly care? These are questions I ask myself daily, and I always get the scripture Proverbs 3:5-6.
This scripture has kept me on the right path as a servant, leader and fellowship with those who God has placed within my life. I do not take my authority in a way that I place myself above those whom God has sent me to serve, I do not put my ego in the way when I feel I know more, nor do I push people away because they are new in Christ. In fact I different, I welcome them in, and I listen, I learn and I lead by the Holy Ghost.
Today I was just speaking my mind, sharing some thought to you my brothers and sisters. And the question of the day is: Are you here to serve the kingdom of God or Are you here to be Served by those who are a part of the Kingdom of God?
